Here we go….

This is the first of what I hope are many entries.

I have found the courage to start taking those scary steps that we all dream about but rarely act upon.

I have worked hard and stayed dedicated to building a life and a career of which I can be proud.

But now…. Now I am going to take the chances that I have always been afraid to take. I am gong to see the people that I love and I am going to meet new people that I may one day call friends. I am going to learn new things. I am going to make recommendations on food adventures and places to visit. I hope to see many sunsets and sunrises. I hope to hug those that mean the world to me…. and I hope to bring a bit of happiness to each life that I encounter.

42 days left until I say “Good Bye” to 30 years of teaching.

According to my friend WM, 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything…. per the book “A Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”

Surprisingly, Day 42 happens to be the day that I finally figured out how to work this blog, connect the domain name, and pay for a year of service….. so here’s to the first “NEW” thing that I have learned!

I bought a van ( along with two friends, AP and CD). I am going to hit the road as many times as possible.
